Antonio le Brésilien, un Enfant du Monde

Antonio le Brésilien, est, tout comme ses copains Jim et Mohammed, un Enfant du Monde. Il fait partie de la série de sculptures de l’artiste Rachid Khimoune qui sont exposées dans le parc de Bercy (12e arrondissement). Comme les autres Enfants, il a été réalisé à partir d’éléments de l’environnement urbain de son “pays d’origine” (plaques d’égout, symboles nationaux…).

Antonio the Brasilian is a sculpture you can see in the Yitzhak Rabin Park (Bercy, 12th arrondissement).

Ah, you made it back in beautiful sunshine I see. I only saw these in dim light, so couldn’t really make out the features… until now!

This photo isn’t very good. I should have waited for the sun coming from behind me ! ;-) Here the features are a bit too dark. But on other “enfants du monde” the colors are better.

The sun often has a mind of its own and gets in the way of the best opportunities! I think it still came out great. :)
